The Chronicle News: Volunteers of America make donation in Lawton

TULSA — Volunteers of America Oklahoma has received two grants totaling $2.1M to support mothers and their children in Southwest Oklahoma.

Humana and the Humana Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Humana Inc., is investing $600,000 and the Health Resources and Services Administration Rural Communities Opioid Response Program — Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome has committed a $1.5M grant to be rolled out over the next three years. The combined funding will be used to bring Family-Focused Recovery services to the region, according to a press release.
