People are served throughout Oklahoma in supportive living, community living, in-home and adult companion services.
Services for Individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome
Affecting 1 in 10,000 to 30,000 people worldwide, Prader-Willi Syndrome is a genetic disorder that can lead to life-threatening obesity. Our residential program entails dietary supervision and the structure necessary to avoid health problems frequently associated with the syndrome.
Volunteers of America Oklahoma is the state’s leader in specialized residential care for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Funding for these programs is provided from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services DDS Division.
