Caring Companions
Location:	Tulsa Metro Area
Date/Time Commitment:	One visit per week. We welcome families to volunteer together - children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
Caring Companions provides regular volunteer visitors to nursing home residents.

Books Are Cool
Location:	Tulsa Metro Area
Date/Time Commitment:	Volunteers are needed to assist in sorting and distributing books. Volunteers set their own schedules with the Books Are Cool Coordinator. We welcome volunteers of any age.
The "Books Are Cool" literacy program promotes reading by providing new books to economically disadvantaged children and their families who have limited or no books of their own.

Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Parents
Location:	Tulsa and Muskogee Metro Areas
Date/Time Commitment:	One year commitment with a minimum of hour a week.
Children between the ages of four and 15 will be matched with a mentor who shares similar interests.

Supportive Housing
Location:	Tulsa, OK
Date/Time Commitment:	Project available Monday - Friday, 8-5 pm. Hours are flexible within those time periods.
Volunteers are needed to assist with food drives and other related activities as well as office/clerical duties.

Volunteers of America of Oklahoma in Muskogee coordinates a four-county RSVP Volunteer Program for persons over the age of 55.
